I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Psychology. I specialize in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintain a private practice in Tustin, Ca. With over nine years experience as a marriage and family therapist, I utilize a Cognitve Behavioral approach in the majority of my clients. Coupled with a degree in nursing, I utilize the 'Mind and Body' concept in formulating treatment plans. Child Abuse is an area that I am particularly drawn to. As a survivor of child abuse myself, I understand the fear and confusion these children suffer. As adults, if untreated, they carry fears of trust, abandonment, depression and low self-esteem into relationships e.g. marriage or in the work environment.
I am also certified in Domestic Abuse Counseling, Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Couples Counseling.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
